THE WEBSITE:

I wanted a place for myself on the web that I could personalize to my heart's content. My existence on social media apps has always felt stagnant and bland.

I started making sites at 14/15, and a friend I met on AOL taught me to not only code but code well. She also taught me graphic design. I slept on coding and design for a long time in my twenties, wanting to focus on writing projects.

I jumped back in around 2022, after seeing I could make a home on Neocities and not be bombarded by ads. Last year I caved and bought a domain name along with hosting from Neocities

I also wanted a safe space for my writing, and for it to be a place others in the LGBT+ community could go to relax and escape. My door is open for anyone feeling overwhelmed, and you can always talk to me.

I've had many, many sites over the years, and several domains. Personal websites are what make the Internet fun in my opinion, always bringing back good memories.

I hope to get a lot better at design and coding again to both push the limits of my creativity and challenge myself.
